About Jane

Jane is a Singer, Songwriter, Composer, Teacher, Choir Director and Worship Leader.

Jane studied at Colchester Institute gaining a BA Hons in Music. She continued training at The London College of Music where she gained a Post Graduate Certificate in Singing. There she was awarded the Ceri Childs Memorial Prize for singing. Jane has also gained a certificate in ‘The Art of Teaching Singing’.

At the LCM she took the role of Mrs Snell in Howard Goodall’s, ‘Silas Marner’.

In 1996 and 1997, Jane sung the role of ‘Salome’, twice, including the world premiere of ‘The Way to Glory’, by International Composer/Musician Jeffery Wilson.
Further experience includes: Soloist in Handel’s Messiah, Handel’s Ode on St. Cecilia’s Day, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Mendelssohn’s Hymn of Praise, Andrew Carter’s Musick’s Jubilee, Drusilla in Monteverdi’s The Coronation of Poppea, Bessie in Merrie England, Sophia in Tom Jones, Plaintiff in Trial by Jury, Edith in Pirates of Penzance, Lucy in Bless the Bride, Consuelo in Westside Story, Sandy in Grease, Annie in Annie Get Your Gun.

Jane has also had great pleasure in singing at the Grand Doge’s Ball in Venice as part of the Carnival Celebrations. She has sung opera arias and duets at The Royal Dorchester Hotel.

Jane has appeared on ‘ITV Sunday Matters’, several times and has recorded backing vocals on ‘Ibiza Club Party Album’ as well as being commissioned to sing on ‘A tribute to Charlotte Church’ album, amongst other albums including Gregorian Chant.

In 2017, Jane released her own debut Christian Album, ‘We Have The Victory’, with all 17 songs written and composed by Jane.  She continues to promote and tour with these songs.

Jane is a very versatile musician and a compelling actress and can sing in many genres. She is available to sing at concerts, recitals, musicals, operas, weddings, after dinner functions, plus other engagements.
